Storm Damage – Agoura Rehab Facility

Storm damage occurred at this Agoura rehab facility when a rear window of the building was broken during a powerful rainstorm over the weekend. It rained all weekend allowing the water to accumulate and stand. The time and quantity of water damaged the subflooring to the point that SERVPRO needed to remove the damaged flooring and dry the subfloor. We performed the required demolition and drying after business hours to allow the facility to operate during the day. Air movers and dehumidifiers were employed to aid in the drying process. Naturally, the drying phase was monitored with sophisticated measuring equipment so it would be apparent when the new flooring could be put down. The rehabilitation facilities management was very complimentary of our staff and the care that they took in executing this job.
