Bonus Room and a Fire

The finished bonus room in this Agoura attic was severely damaged by an electrical fire in the side attic crawlspace. A safe demolition of the charred building materials took some time to complete. The framing was exposed, and a thermal fogging was needed to seek out and change the chemical composition of lingering smoke odors. The removal of fire-induced odors cannot be overlooked. What is the point of viewing a rebuilt room as pictured in the After Photo if there is a sense of fire in the air?
