Storm Damage – Agoura Office

Storm damage at this Agoura office space soaked the commercial carpeting. The office space was unrented at the time, but the owner had appointments to show the property on the near horizon, so he was anxious for a swift and professional resolution of the water damage. SERVPRO of Agoura / Calabasas / Hidden Hills was called in to assess and remediate the storm damage. During our assessment, we would find that the concrete subfloor had retained a significant amount of moisture. The property owner and the insurance adjuster agreed that the best course of action was to remove the carpeting to dry the subfloor and prevent the drywall from wicking up any further moisture. After the carpeting was removed, commercial air movers and dehumidifiers would be employed to speed up the drying process.
