Agoura Homes Especially Susceptible to Flood Damage During Rainy Season

Every year, between mid-October and late April, the Agoura area experiences its rainy season.  During this time, heavy rains and runoff from the surrounding foothills and mountains often cause flash flooding.

The risk of flood damage in Agoura usually skyrockets during this period. Unexpected torrential rains can rapidly cause high-water issues. Normally loose dry earth can suddenly become a fast-moving mud slurry rolling downhill into low-lying areas.
